This new generation of cleanser with polyhydroxy acids performs the cleansing and daily micro-peeling while preserving the skin's acidic pH balance. It can be used on the face, eyes, and lips. Conventional cleansers and soaps have most often a very alkaline pH. They produce a substantial pH increase of the natural skin acid mantle for various hours. During this interval, the enzymatic activity is perturbed; undesired bacteria can proliferate and perturb the microflora balance, causing impure skin.
